It's been awhile!

Well hello everyone! It has been quite some time since I have posted. I hear my favorite patient Pat telling me to update my blog. SO on this snowy night I have decided to bring things up to speed.
As everyone knows Ella is going to be 21 months. WOW now where did the time go? My baby is not a baby anymore but a toddler. It scares me to think how fast the time has flown by. In just a snap of a finger she is running around like a mad woman and driving me crazy. However still not talking much which frustrates us and her but I wouldn't change her for the world! She is our pride and joy. I'd give anything for that girl. Just the way she smirks at you when she is about to do something she isn't suppose to just makes me smile. She has some personality,I wonder where that comes from?
Alot has happened since February. Ella turned one on April 11th 2010. It was a great day. We had a lot of family here to celebrate. I also surprised my mom with a 60th birthday party also. She was very happy with the surprise! Two wonderful people in our lives to celebrate their births.
I then got pregnant in the end of April. We were very happy. We planned to have our kids close in age since we are getting older, hehe. When we went to our 1st ultrasound at 6 weeks 4 days we saw 2 babies AGAIN!!1 I knew it and told bill all along. Now he thinks I have some magical powers! LOL We then went to another ultrasound at 7 weeks 2 days and there were 2 heartbeats. They were not that fast but there. My Midwife warned us a possibility loosing one baby again. I was put on a progesterone supplement since it was low. Unfortunately when we went back on June 14 th we found out the babies had passed some time after we went to our last ultrasound. I was devastated. I think when Lani told me in that room I knew what she was going to say to me but it didn't register. I looked at Bill for reassurance and he looked devastated and shocked as well. I played it off as I was ok and now what do we do.We were given our options and decided to to the D&C the next morning.
I walked out of that office feeling my stomach. I couldn't believe we lost our babies. How could this happen again! We have lost three babies. It just didn't seem fair. I just cried in the car and called my mom crying. It was awful. I felt like a failure. My body has failed me.
I did a lot of searching and learned to move on and accept the unacceptable. It wasn't going to stop us from trying again. We had to wait three months before trying again.
It happened...in September. The 21st I took a test and there was the line. I was soooo scared. A lot of what if went threw my head. We didn't want to loose another baby. I couldn't bear to loose another child.
My Midwife is just awesome. She saw me right away, did blood work to check everything. So far all was fine with the blood. She did and ultrasound. ONLY ONE BABY YES!!!! I knew it and was excited. I knew my risk factor went down a little since there was only one baby in there. I still am high risk because of Ella being a preemie and me going into preterm labor at 31 weeks for no reason.BUT on the high side we only had one beautiful baby. After 3 ultrasounds the baby looks great and is growing perfectly. I am currently 17 weeks. WOW I'll say it again, time flies. Now this time around I am taking progesterone injections once a weeks to prolong gestation. I am praying that we go full term with a healthy baby. I don't want to go down the NICU road again. So here we are waiting to make the appointment to find out the sex. Hoping to go in early January.
Now that I am tired I am going to bed. I hope Ella sleeps till 9!
